Whiteheads

The white heads or white acne when the comedones closed are formed due to clogged pores with sebum oil and keratinized cells. Obvious sign of whiteheads is the formation of the white nodules under the skin surface. The inflammatory process is not as apparent as other types of acne due to the lack of contact with oxygen. However, an increase of sebum oil in whiteheads will develop into open comedones or the black heads.

The vast majority of the suggested acne creams, ointments, gels and lotions, in addition to chemicals and antibiotics in their formulations contain surfactants - surface-active substances. Surfactants clog pores of the skin and prevent the penetration of the ingredients into the deep layers of the skin reducing the therapeutic efficacy of such acne products. In addition, prolonged use of antibiotics and chemicals in the treatment of acne causes side effects. Antibiotics can only be used as a temporary measure (within 2 - 3 weeks) in order to reduce the inflammatory process. Longer use of antibiotics and chemicals may lead to the development of rosacea and demodicosis.

The use of creams which contain only natural ingredients is the alternative to acne creams with chemicals and hormones. All natural acne cream made by Ovante is one of the most effective - natural products for treating acne of any severity fast and effectively.
